Maureen K., RN, Clinical Supervisor
Maureen is the clinical supervisor. She has been a nurse for 42 years and has worked for the pain clinic for 12 years. She is involved in the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of all surgical and procedural patients. Maureen also works with the office and case manager in setting up and scheduling all surgeries.She is actively involved in outpatient procedures, providing procedural monitoring, and intra-venous sedation.

Brenda is the office manager to Dr. Ferro. She is involved in all areas of the practice, including surgical coordinating and physician liaison, confirming that primary and referring physicians are updated on their patients progress. She secures insurance authorization for most surgeries and procedures performed in the practice. She has been with the practice for 8 years and in the medical field since 1997.
Kay
Kay S., RN
Kay has been a registered nurse for 36 years but has been in the medical field for 49 years. She has worked with Dr. Ferro since 1992 and for him since 1998. She has over 20 years of surgical experience. At this time, Kay is semi-retired but continues to work for Dr. Ferro on a part-time basis. Kay is involved in providing vital sign monitoring and IV sedation during office-based procedures.
Nikki
Nikki B., Office Scheduler
Nikki has worked for Dr. Ferro for over 8 years. Her main responsibility is scheduling procedures and surgeries at the office, as well coordinating the schedules at the hospitals and surgical center sites. She schedules and coordinates all patient diagnostic studies required for evaluation and treatment.
Darla
Darla G., ST
Darla is a surgical technician. She has been in the medical field for over 23 years. She has been in this practice for 7 years. She specializes in the management of patients with implantable pain pumps. Her responsibilities include the programing, refilling, and diagnostics of all pumps.
Emily
Emily F., MA
Emily is a registered medical assistant. She started working for Dr. Ferro right out of school and has been with his practice for over 2 years. Emily is involved in the clinical area of the practice doing post-operative care, starting IV's, and doing x-ray. She reviews new consults, screening all patient demographics, histories, and diagnostics for initial evaluations. She works the procedure / surgical room assisting with x-ray functioning.
Missy
Missy J., MA
Missy worked as a nursing assistant with Alzheimer patients for 3 years. She then returned to school and became a registered medical assistant. Missy has been working for Dr. Ferro for almost 2 years. She shares in the responsibilities of pre-operative and post-operative care as well as new patient evaluations.
